Growing Growing Growing. Thats my life right now. With two months under my belt I went in for my obligatory doctors appointment. The first half of the appointment went great. I stripped off my sleeper and put on a fresh diaper before tipping the scale to a nice 11 lbs 6.3 oz. landing me right at the 50th percentile for weight. Next up was measuring my head which once again was a little bigger than the rest at around the 75th percentile. Finally they threw me on the rack and stretched me out to 22 inches placing me just under the 50th percentile. This whole length thing seems to track appropriately based on my parents not so astonishing height.
From there we went into the exam room and met up with my doctor. She is such a nice lady. She answered all our questions and gave me a once over. I got the works including a stethoscope, a otoscope, and even a tongue depressor. Everything checked out and then it was down to the dirty business of shots. Yeah, those sharp needles and my soft little thighs. Before that all went down I was given an oral vaccination wich was nice and sweet. I didn’t mind that at all. Then things got nasty. Three shots in a matter of seconds. There I was laying there all smiley and relaxed. Then all of a sudden mom and dad had these concerned looks on their faces and the nice nurse grabbed my leg and jabbed a very sharp needle into it, then did it again and again. I obviously was screaming at this point and wasn’t quite sure what I had done to deserve this harsh treatment. Then some bandaids were applied with what must use some industrial / special forces adhesive as they are almost impossible to remove without causing considerable pain.

It was over very quickly and was was quickly snuggled by dad and then by mom who gave me a little snack to help calm me down. After that I was back to all smiles.
I slept most of the day away recovering from my fierce battle at the doctors office. It was a nice day out so in the evening I got on a nice little outfit and we went out to snap some tow month old pictures. I hope you like them.
